

The Google Pay App uses the Near Field Communication (NFC) to transmit the card information which facilities funds transfer to the retailers. Starting from May 2018, the Google App has added support for event tickets and boarding passes. The unique feature of this service is it allows its users to make use of the payment cards they have on file using Google Play. Tez was a mobile service payment launched by Google in India, but later it was renamed as the Google Pay app from August 28, 2018.
